Steege Hill Preserve 📍

Steege Hill Nature Preserve is a 793-acre protected area in Big Flats, near Elmira, New York. This preserve features numerous trails for hiking, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing, showcasing a recovering forest that was once devastated by poor logging practices. Visitors can explore diverse flora and fauna, including timber rattlesnakes, and observe the natural beauty of the area including the epic overlook of the Chemung Valley.
