A couple ride past on a UTV on the narrow shoulder of NY 43 as I head through Averal Park in rural Rensselaer County.

Bright sun as the day came to close illuminated this farm house that is probably 150 years ago, and was passed by horse and buggies, and Model Ts a few generations ago.

Passing by Grundhum Lumber, a Grafton insitution for many years harvesting the bounty of the Rensselear Plateau.
