Healthier Camp Meals 🍲

So far I’ve been very happy with my healthier choices for camp meals on this first trip since changing how I eat. They have been very tasty and filling without being so calorie loaded or full of sugar and salt.

Light Snacky Dinner

  • Apples
  • Carrots
  • Humis for dipping carrots
  • Grapes
  • Tofu with hot sauce
  • Water

Breakfast

  • Banana
  • Sweet onion chopped sautéed
  • Asparagus chopped sautéed
  • Mushrooms
  • Tofu
  • Canned chopped tomato, low salt
  • Two eggs
  • Slight topping of shredded cheddar
  • Hot sauce
  • Coffee with milk

Lunch

  • Small amount of olive oil
  • Asparagus chopped sautéed
  • Mushrooms
  • Tofu
  • Brown rice and lentils previously cooked at home
  • Canned chopped tomato, low salt
  • Slight amount of added salt and pepper
  • Dried grated parmesan cheese sprinkled on top
  • Grapes for desert
  • Water
