The reds were quite strong looking east to Bennington. For a while taking in the view, and seeing Stratton Mountain in the distance, I was kicking myself for not bringing my camping gear. But I am content with just enjoying the view, and heading home. I can always go back to Vermont later in November.

On the driveway back to their camp where the trail crosses, there is a nice view of the Heldeberg Mountains.
