DEC seeks input on southeast Adirondack forests
"The DEC will hold a public meeting on what the public would like to see in recreational opportunities for the Southern Boreal Management Unit, which consists of more than 4,000 acres of public lands. The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 28 at the Saratoga Springs Public Library."
"The forests that make up the Southern Boreal complex — which is not related to DEC’s management of the Boreas Ponds Tract in North Hudson — are Lincoln Mountain, Daketown, Middle Grove, Lake Desolation, Usher’s Road and Daniel’s Road state forests in Saratoga County, and Ralph Road State Forest in Warren County."
