"About a week after one alligator was captured in the Tioughnioga River near Whitney Point, a second was netted shortly before 3 p.m. Monday. The second alligator was bigger, measuring 45 inches from snout to tail. The gator was spotted Sunday and was discovered Monday in a pool near where the river crosses beneath Interstate 81."
