US Topo Maps Pro – Android Apps On Google Play
I bought another app for my phone. I've had the free version of the app for a while, but I wanted to be able download and cache topographic and other maps for when I'm in the woods and don't have good cellphone service. I like being able to look at a map, and see a blue dot, and know exactly where I am -- and how much elevation I have to climb to get over the next peak.

It’s currently 82 degrees in Albany and is expected to reach 83 by 3 PM or so. The last time it was this warm out was September 28, 2014. Showers coming in later this evening, with a comfortable low of 56. Not much humidity so should be comfortable sleeping.
