BYD unveils new super-charging EV tech, to build charging network in China | Reuters

BEIJING, March 17 (Reuters) - BYD on Monday unveiled a new platform for electric vehicles (EVs) that it said could charge EVs as quickly as it takes to pump gas and announced for the first time that it would build a charging network across China. The so-called "super e-platform" will be capable of peak charging speeds of 1,000 kilowatts (kW), enabling cars that use it to travel 400 km (249 miles) on a 5-minute charge, founder Wang Chuanfu said at an event livestreamed from the company's Shenzhen headquarters.

American Union

I like the idea of creating an American Union with Canada and Mexico with free movement of people and goods like the European Union. Then people could choose what country offers the best jobs, best laws, best living options. Each country has their strengths and weaknesses just like each country does in the European Union. Like with states, let people vote with their feet.

That’s my take on the auto-pen controversy. It’s fine to challenge the validity of Biden’s pardons based on whether or not he used an auto-pen, but ultimately what will happen is they’ll haul poor Joe Biden in front of a judge, and the judge is going to ask him, did you sign or direct somebody to sign these pardons on your behalf using an auto sign device? Was it your intent, as president to pardon these individuals? He will answer both questions yes, wasting a whole bunch of people’s time and money, and the case will be dismissed.
