This looks like a very nice charger, especially if your building things that use USB power at higher output.

I think this goal is more realistic than people realize. I would have doubted it five years ago but technology has advanced and 18650 li-on cells are quite inexpensive. You get enough of them together and you can power a bus for a good long day. Software and controllers for managing batteries has gotten much better lately too. There are still issues with extremely hot and cold weather with battery powered buses but they are the future. Grid electricity is so much cheaper than diesel and with more and more wind coming online there is surplus of cheap electricity in the early morning hours when most people are sleeping.
Miami is not going to be far behind. They already have problems with flooding at high tide. Boston too... Everytime they get a very high tide with a Nor'Easter they are flooding. Didn't used to be that way.
Funny kind of how when a doctor warns you about the dangers of chain smoking and then you find out you have lung cancer. Those smoker coughs at first weren't too bad.
410 ppm is the new norm.
Electricity is a very efficient way to power a motor vehicle as internal combustion engines are quite lossy in converting fuel to useful work compared to a central power plant.
