Cuomo considering ban on plastic shopping bags
I really like the idea of banning plastic shopping bags. The other day I was given a paper bag from a retailer, and I was thinking how novel -- something that is easily recycled with paper, safely burned in a fire, something that will rot if left in the woods, it won't get caught in the trees or stream beds. Plus paper is a renewable resource -- and paper bags are often at least partially made from waste paper.
