Snow Depth – Wednesday April 7

Outside of the Adirondacks High Peaks, the highest elevations of Green Mountains, and some of the extreme Western Adirondacks, it looks like snow has bit the dust. That said, I bet if your hiking in the highest elevation of Catskills and Adirondacks in deep valleys and sides of mountains in the shadow of sun you’ll still find some deep snow and lot of ice.

Snow Depth – Friday April 2

Looking at this morning’s snow depth chart, it looks like the south-eastern Adirondacks don’t have a ton of snow, but definitely a good dusting or an inch or two. The same is true is locally, as with the Schoharie Valley. Some ice around too.

Snow Depth – Friday March 26

While there is some snow in the Western Adirondacks and the higher elevation locations of the Green Mountains, last night’s heavy rain did a number on the snow in most of eastern Adirondacks and Hudson Valley.
