The Busways
Real bus rapid transit is fantastic, especially now with electric busses becoming a reality.

One of the things I miss about working in the North Syracuse area this autumn is the quiet time I have on the bus commuting to work in Albany-area.ย ๐ The time spent on the bus is a time I can work on blog posts and think about the day that is coming up. Driving is an all encompassing activity, it is a time waste, not time I can use in solitude with my phone while getting back and forth to work. โฐ
"Albany Electric buses now being tested on the streets of Quebec City might start rolling in the Capital District under a pilot program being eyed by the Capital District Transportation Authority. "We want to work with other systems that are testing these buses, and learn together," said CDTA CEO Car..."
"What happens when a government administration stops administering? Right now, urban commuters are finding out."
A sure sign that autumn is here. ๐The autumn bus drivers are back… And the 719 bus is only running 15 minutes late, complete with a CDTA supervisor escort.๐๐ I hope at least they found a bus that doesn’t stall out on the expressway. Maybe I’ll make it home by six o’clock.๐ง
Some how during the summer they can make the 719 busesย reliable and on time. But come autumn through spring, they only send out the jalopies with the tardy drivers out to Voorheesville.
