Normanskill West Preserve 📍

A wooded 30-acre preserve across from Delaware Plaza at the end of Normanskill Boulevard. The 1.5-mile Normans Kill West Preserve is largely wooded with creek views and several cute bridges. A portion of the trail runs alongside the creek—approach quietly to see local wildlife such as the great blue heron. Normans Kill – Wide Screen

High waters mean the Normanskill is particularly muddy today, after the recent rains though it's often fairly muddy. There is an informal path from the preserve down to the creek, which might be good in lower waters to swim or fish.
