There is no way I was going to put a kayak in there. Maybe some very calm day, I'll be brave enough to go kayaking in a bay at Point Au Roche, close to the shore, but not today.

This is where the Adirondack Northway runs south through the Adirondacks. It's much nicer on a clear fall day.

This is the North End of Connor Bay, and is largely made up broken shale.

Believe it or not, it was open on this rather rough day, with not the nicest weather. So if you want to go swimming in some rough surf, you could, with lifeguards watching you.
