Stairs To Top Of Kaaterskill Falls
The new staircase cut into the side of Kaaterskill Falls is quite impressive -- I don't think the state has done a stone cutting project like this since the C.C.C. / New Deal era. It looks like most of the stone was locally quarried as part of building the staircase, and makes for a nice easy hike to the top of the falls and the middle ledge.
