Grand Canyon Sign ...

This proves that the Pine Creek Gorge is really called the Grand Canyon. Also interestingly enough in this picture is several businesses, that use burn barrels for their trash. One also has a dumpster for the unburnables. Not something you would have seen in rural New York, at least any time recently.

Taken on Friday November 12, 2010 at Tioga State Forest.

More about Tioga State Forest...

Tioga State Forest derives its name from the Seneca phrase "meeting of two rivers." It covers 161,890 acres in Bradford and Tioga counties. The forest hosts the Pine Creek Gorge, also known as the "Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania." Tioga features awe-inspiring views and miles of clean, cool streams, like Cedar Run and Babbs Creek and is one of eight state forests located in the PA Wilds region.
