August 2, 2017 Morning

Good morning! What day is it? Hump Day, of course. Three weeks to Last Day with Average High of 80. There will be some relief from the heat and humidity eventually. Partly sunny and 66 degrees in Delmar, NY. Calm wind. The dew point is 64 degrees. But for now, hot and humid.

Today will have isolated showers, then scattered showers and thunderstorms after noon. Partly sunny, with a high of 83 degrees at 3pm. One degree above normal. Maximum dew point of 67 at 12pm. Calm wind becoming southwest around 6 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms. A year ago, we had partly sunny skies. The high last year was 77 degrees. The record high of 97 was set in 1975.
