About Murders Per 100k Population ....

Murder rates seems correlated to the average temperature of a state. Northern states overwhelmingly have a low murder rate per 100,000 people compared to southern states -- even ignoring the great population differences, with the exception of Michigan which is home to the very troubled city of Detroit.
