July 15, 2015 update

Good morning, Happy Hump Day. Still pretty gray this morning but we are up to 66 right now. Mornings seem much easier when the sun is out and shinning.

Today the bus downtown is a BRT commuter coach hybrid, bus number 326H. It looks like it’s been used for several years based on the wear and tear, along with the florescent lighting. The coach configuration with comfortable seats is neat but I’m sure it wouldn’t hold up for regular urban transit use. I also think the vehicle locator system is broke based on the lack of data in Moovit for this bus and the stop signal cord appears broken.

Tommorow it’s Thursday, so I will have to get packed for the weekend and go shopping. It’s really not that much work but it still takes time as I use the same food, pots and pans, clothes, and personal supplies as I use up in the woods.

Next weekend if the weather is decent, finally getting out to the Finger Lakes. I think I will probably take a full week and eventually end up in Erie, Pennsylvania. On the other hand, I would kind of like to get down to West Virginia this year, but I don’t know, it’s an awful long drive through Pennsylvania until I would get three. I hate long drives on expressways. I much prefer back roads.
