May 10, 2015 evening

67 degrees and occasional rain drops. The fog driving from Westerlo to Delmar was intense at times. With the breeze, it doesn’t feel as humid this evening.

Heavy rain is on its way. But for now the spring peepers are throwing a party and croaking loud. The cows at Sunset Farms were bellowing for a while, wanting something but they’ve settled down and are now quiet.

We had some pretty heavy rain showers come through earlier. This is good because things were drying out. There was a brush fire –  second time in a week – off of the Northway in Latham near Wade Road Extension which was kicking a ton of smoke on the Northway this morning.

Tommorow, continued hazy-hot-humid, thunderstorms and downpours. Bring your umbrella. Tuesday will be when the change comes. Later in the week expect temperatures 20-30 degrees colder, some days struggling to reach the sixties. Rain returns for Saturday.
