Good morning, First Hump Day of May

Good morning, Happy Hump Day. We are now in the middle of the week. The warm dry weather continues. Going to be a hot weekend for sure.

Probably going to stay in town this weekend as it’s probably too dry to burn things in the woods and the water is frigid for swimming. Maybe get my kayak out and do some paddling on the Hudson River. Or at least some fishing.

As much as I don’t like these dry conditions, it is good that winter is quickly fading in the rear view mirror. Dry weather should help dry out the Adirondack truck trails so they can be opened for Memorial Day Weekend.

I’m officially undecided on my Memorial Day Weekend plans but it might be the Moose or possibly somewhere else this year. The Western Adirondacks might be fun for a change. Heck, I don’t know. Just as long as the forecast doesn’t look super rainy.
