Good morning, Happy Hump Day

Good morning, Happy Hump Day. Catching the earlier bus downtown to avoid traffic from the Charter School rally. The roads are just wet this morning after last night’s pounding sleet and freezing rain. So far no delays.

Last night’s inclement weather didn’t help the potholes much with the plows grinding away at the road surface, trying to clear it of ice. Warmer temperatures also encouraged freeze-thaw related potholes.

Temperatures are slowly climbing even if we are still below normal for this time of year. Not going to reach the average high of forty in Albany today but it will be above freezing. Eventually the spring thaw will have to come.
