Good Morning, Happy Tuesday. We’ve made it to the day before Hump Day. Before you know it, the weekend will return and spring can’t be that much farther off.

It’s a kind of gray cold Tuesday, but I know winter has only so many weeks before it must give in to the changing axis of the earth.

 The cold of winter is upon us as is to be expected. Too keep things from getting too cold,  I tend to keep the heat up a bit more in the apartment and with real time bus info I generally avoid excess time in the cold.

 I am going to be the speaker at the Save the Pine Bush Dinner on January 21st and we will be talking about land preservation and the many parcels that still need protection in the Albany Pine Bush.

 Next week I will be getting the lift kit put on my truck. The parts are in but the shop is working on a different truck this week. I think the tires can make it until next week as I have no plans to drive anywhere until Saturday if not Sunday.

 I do want to get up to the Pine Bush this weekend to get some pictures of parcels that I believe deserve protection. Maybe if not too cold do some hunting at Partridge Run WMA.
