Good Evening! Happy Monday. It was a delightful long weekend, although it did rain on Sunday and Monday evening was darn sticky. Went up to Moose River Plains for the balance of the weekend, then took a pleasant drive back via NY 28 through Old Forge, then NY 169 to Little Falls and NY 5S west until South Amsterdam. The corn has gotten tall, but it’s almost harvest time already.

All the camping stuff is back to normal on my truck. It was two nice evening next to the campfire with colorful string lights and the back lit flag lighting up the evening sky. Still waiting for the driver’s seat to get fixed, and that’s a bit uncomfortable, but hopefully next week it will be fixed.

It was a summer that came to an end much too fast with too few adventures. But fall is always delightful, and realistically there are still three months for adventures before the snow overtakes the landscape.
