More about Broomstick Lake...
Broomstick Lake is a tranquil, 13-acre mountain lake hidden within the Ferris Lake Wild Forest in the Adirondacks, New York. Reached via an easy 1.5-mile out-and-back trail from State Highway 10, the hike passes scenic streams and small cascades. Famous as a filming site for the 1936 movie The Last of the Mohicans, this shallow lake offers a peaceful retreat for hiking, birding, and fishing.
