If it’s not branded wilderness, it’s not worth going! 🌲 🌳

What is the best way to bring people to a piece of public land? Call it a wilderness.

Some of the quietest places in the Adirondacks are branded as Wild Forest and while they have many trails and great places to explore, most people pass them by in favor of wilderness areas.

Wild Forest areas are forest preserve and are kept forever wild, and many of them are very remote and even far removed from roads. Yet they seem always to get passed by most people.
