Glad the ice is melting from the rail trail 🧊

I really do not like riding on all that ice and snow on the rail trail as it makes for a rough surface. Apparently while Albany County has tons of money for artwork and cameras along the trail, plowing is not in the budget. But soon it should be good, especially if we get half or more an inch of rain tomorrow and temperatures are in the 50s.

I wanted to be in the office by 8 AM today both so I could get reports run and build up some comp time for work. 🏢 Truth is with all the new initiatives I’ve been working on I am always swamped at work. 💻 Always new things to move forward, new data to obtain and enhance. Busy, busy, busy.

Blueberry pancakes this morning. 🥞 Homemade as always using whole-wheat flour, oatmeal, milk, egg, some stevia and baking powder. Truth is now that I’ve gotten into only eating whole-wheat flour, the idea of white flour kind of abhors me. I like my food to have a lot of flavor and texture. I forgot to get carrots while shopping yesterday, so no carrots in the pancakes this morning.

It is getting nicer riding in as bike trail has less and less snow. 🚴 I just don’t like the rough ice. It beats the heck out of my bike, my lunch and I’ve not been bringing my laptop with me 💻 as I don’t want that to get that beat too. Most things I can do on my state computer, but I like my laptop for listening to music and checking my personal email. Now I’m just waiting for less cold so I can start spending weekends up in wilderness. 🏕
