My arms still hurt a bit 🩹

So yeah, I’m vaxxed. It really wasn’t a big deal, there was no line, I was in an out, the lights work well enough on my bike, though I do want to order a second rear taillight as a backup as one of them on the bike currently is non-functional and with the time change, there will be a lot more riding after dark, at least from my office in Menands down to the Old Train Station downtown to catch the express home.

It’s nice being able to sleep with the windows open 🪟 at least for one more night, 🛏️ though it’s obvious a change is going to come in the weather shortly. The days come late October are just so much more darkness. It’s after 6:15 and there isn’t much sign of lightness yet, and it was pitch black except for the moonlight and the stars 🌕 when I went to get out and get milk. 🐄

I am heading into the office 🏢 as soon as there is enough daylight to ride, and my rice is done on the stove, 🍲 as I have a long list of things to do. Some ways I’m more productive in the office 🏢 as I don’t have to worry about the state of charge 🔋 of the batteries. Friday I’ll probably work at home again, 🏡 or probably more like Five Rivers where they have Wi-Fi and it’s pretty out. 

I am thinking about doing an oil change on Big Red this weekend, 🛻 as it’s due and I don’t want to have to take time off of work and go down to the shop to do it. I was going to wait until December, figuring I wouldn’t do any big trips in November but it might be nice to get away for at least the Veterans Day Weekend to Vermont and maybe after Thanksgiving head up tot he Adirondacks. 🦃 And maybe a trip out to Cazenovia the first week of November but a lot depends on the weather. I also considered one of those quickly-lube places, but I’m not sure if they will service a big lifted truck like mine, as it doesn’t fit well into most of their bays.
