What adventures come next? ⛺

  • Next weekend I’ll probably stay in town, catch the Nature Bus to Thacher Park, ride trail and road, hammock read on Saturday
  • Following weekend I might hammock camp in north west Schoharie – such as Cotton Hill or Dutch Settlement, explore the Gas Up Tractor Festival
  • The weekend after that stay in town, maybe go to the Gas Up with dad or a family trip to the Roger’s Center in Serburne
  • The week after that maybe go to Schoharie and Mine Kill Pool with camping at Burnt-Rossman or the Potholers on Piseco-Powley
  • Independence Weekend take off Wednesday and hopefully have Thursday and Friday off to spend at the House Pond campsite floating down the East Branch Sacandaga River in the tube
  • Then the second or third week of July head out to the Finger Lakes National Forest from Friday to Sunday, a week later to do the usual summer vacation
  • August come back to the Green Mountains National Forest or maybe Spectulator area. Will need to camp places with cell service for work
