About Taconic Crest Trail ....

The Taconic Crest Trail is a 37-mile hiking path starting from Hancock, Massachusetts, near the New York border, it follows the ridge line of the Taconic Range, crossing through Massachusetts, and then winding along the borders of New York and Massachusetts, as well as New York and Vermont, until reaching Petersburgh, New York, close to the Vermont border. The trail passes through areas preserved as state forest, conservation easement, or forest preserve.
