Daily Update – July 13, 2022

Good morning! What day is it? Hump Day, of course. 🐪

Mostly sunny and 60 degrees in Delmar, NY. ☀ Calm wind. The dew point is 60 degrees.

I was up bright 🔆 and early this morning but things got dragged out due to a bunch of fumbles this morning. 🌅 Stupid things, misplaced my wallet and spilled my coffee ☕ but I made it to the express bus. 🚍

I scheduled my truck to get serviced, 👨‍🔧 to have them look at the wheel that is clicking and making some squeaking noise. I think it’s a bad wheel bearing, but unfortunately I can’t get it into the shop until a week from Friday. So I probably won’t have it next weekend, knowing how these things go. 😬 I have a dentist appointment that morning, so I will drop off the truck, then get my teeth cleaned. 🪥

I will have to see if the first week of August I can take off for vacation. 😎 I probably should have dealt with it earlier on, but so be it. Maybe I won’t do a week vacation until the fall this year. With gas prices, it might just make more sense to do a few more long weekends through the fall, when prices fall. ⛽ I am such a serial procrastinator.
