Daily Update – May 3, 2022

Good morning! Happy Tuesday.

Did you see that by next Tuesday it might hit 80 degrees? I know finally, it seems tardy this year.

Cloudy and 53 degrees in Delmar, NY. ☁ Calm wind. The dew point is 47 degrees. Clouds today, rain tomorrow. The skies will clear Thursday around 1 am.

Kind of cloudy and damp morning. ☁️ No rain like yesterday but hardly a banner day. I guess enjoy the cool while it lasts. I’m going to need to put away may heated blanket and heater soon and get out my fans. I’m surprised my neighbor doesn’t yet have his window air conditioning unit. I may be stubborn but I like the fresh air and when it’s really hot getting out of town.

They say this isn’t going to be as hot of a summer as the last few 🏖 but I have my doubts, for one the climate normals are hotter then in years past. Plus I work downtown five days a week again 🏢 and so much of the oppressive heat is just when you step outside the office building and are waiting for the bus 🚍 at five o’clock in the evening.

Yesterday was another real busy day at work 💼 got home around 8, too late for a walk 🚶 so skipped it, had dinner and went to bed 🛏. Not that last night would have been good for a walk, it was raining on and off. The one good thing is that session will likely be done in a month, though I expect a busy summer with elections, especially with the craziness of the redistricting and primaries.

The blister I got on my finger 🖕 and thumb 👍 continue to heal but also grow. So far I’ve managed not to pop it but it’s annoying when I type. Grabbed a hot can top I shouldn’t have tried to grab out of the fire on fire. I know, ouch. Be careful with fire bro.
