Weather Update – January 4, 2022
Clear but cold today ☀
I guess it just seems particularly cold after a mild December as January can often be quite cold. ❄ That said you can’t underestimate the lack of breeze when it comes to staying warm. Plus at least at home that electric blanket really makes me bed 🛏 so nice and warm. Too warm except on the absolutely lowest setting so I’m not using that much electricity. But then again I winter camp ⛺ often in an unheated truck cap or tent.
It is increasingly looking like Friday might be a notable snow 🌨 event but it is still early out. I was kind of hoping to get out of town this weekend but that seems increasingly unlikely if there is a ton of snow but I could go skiing 🎿 maybe if it’s not too cold on Saturday. The following weekend is three days with Martin Luther King 👑 Day, so that might be a better fit weekend to head out of town if it’s not too cold and snowy.
