Back Home After the Great Autumn Trip of 2021 🍂

Back Home After the Great Autumn Trip of 2021 🍂

Looking through all the pictures I took and remembering the good and bad of the autumn trip that somehow ended up in November and down in West Virginia that is until I destroyed that wheel bearing on my truck. It happens but it still was a good trip even if everything didn’t quite go to plan — not that there was much of a plan to start out with.

Things are mostly unpacked, cleaned up and put away. I will need to get more food and propane at some point, although I guess I can wait until I head out camping next time for the propane. I am thinking my next best chance to head out of town will be Buy Nothing Day, November 26th. Continuing to look through my photos, the best of which I will be posting over the next few days. Also looking through the notes I jotted down throughout my trip.

Am I thrilled to be back home? Of course not, but it would have been another cold night had I stayed out one more night camping at Long Pond State Forest then more of a hurry back to Albany to get unpacked on Sunday. Instead, I can ease myself back into the routine and the upcoming work week. and look through my photos and think about my memories.
