Yesterday wasn’t too bad day, I ended up working down at the library 📚 for a good part of the day because it wasn’t that cold and there was enough sun for the solar. 💻 I finally got all the system updates installed on M$ Winders 10, and got my request form in for the VPN. 📡📶 That should make people happy, and it will mean fewer trips on the bus 🚌 or asking colleagues to get files off the server. 🗄It took forever to load those updates. Linux is so much faster at upgrading, although granted it can be a pain too if you have to upgrade through multiple versions that break the C library requiring reboots to keep programs from acting really odd when symbol tables don’t match up. 🔡 I’m sure that is what some of those delays were, but it also seems like Windows updates are particularly slow. 🐢 You know, I prefer to Linux. 🐧 But I should have a secure, reliable Winders box when I need that for work. ⏹ I also watched the Gubernators’ State of Budget Address, 🎙 worked on some 3D maps for the blog 🗺 and a few tweaks to the campsite map that I made up.🏕 Did my evening walk 🚶🏻
