NYE Update

It was a nice New Years Eve and I made it up to midnight. ✨ Beautiful weather for NYE, not too cold and lots of moonlight. 🌕 Had a nice fire until midnight, listening to NCPR’s holiday music program 📻 and then lighting of sparklers and fountains at midnight. 🎇

Drank way too much coffee trying to stay up to midnight ☕ – it’s like eight hours long of darkness this time of year. Nothing like the two or two and half hours until midnight on the 4th of July. Have some leg cramps from the dehydration of all that coffee so I’m drinking water now. 💦

So we made it to 2021. I think that’s something to be excited about. While I’m not sure I would describe 2020 as the worst year ever, it was what it was, certainly an adventure and a time of change. 💭 And now it’s time for bed 🛏.
