Albany County, landlord
I think it’s interesting that the tax records still show Albany County as the owner of the Empire State Plaza at 64 Eagle Street and the Cultural Education Center at 304 Madison Avenue in Albany.
That said, I heard the state stopping paying its landlord around 15 years ago for rent when Albany County had retired the bonds on the Empire State Plaza.
