Good morning! Happy Thursday. Two weeks to Boxing Day 🥊. Mostly sunny and 18 degrees in Delmar, NY. Calm wind. β Definitely a bit crisp but sunny. There are 3 inches of snow on the ground. There are a lot of bare patches on the ground now, I was able to cross the traffic island without deep snow for the first time since the snow storm. β οΈThings will start to thaw out at tomorrow around 9 am. 🌡οΈ
Taking the express downtown. 🚍 The hybrid bus slowly nicely on the red-lights 🚥 on the expressway. Lot of smoke rising from the Glenmont Power Plant. 🏭 Definitely cold but crisp.

I won’t notice from my windowless office 🏢 but it doesn’t matter as I have a busy day on tap. A year ago, we had mostly sunny skies in the morning, remaining cloudy in the afternoon. The high last year was 39 degrees. The record high of 62 was set in 1979. 6.6 inches of snow fell back in 1970.β
