September 13, 2018 12 PM Update

Good morning! Happy State Primary Day πŸ—³οΈ. Should be a very hot summer-like later summer day, now that the fog has burned off and the bright blue sky is above us. Mostly sunny and 78 degrees in Oneida.Β β˜€ There is a east breeze at 5 mph. πŸƒ. The dew point is 66 degrees. The muggy weather ends Wednesday around 7 am. πŸ˜“ Kind of us unusual how hot and humid it is for mid-September.Β  You usually have weather like this more in summer, it’s really kind of beach weather. πŸ– I guess you have to take while you can still can.

Today will be mostly sunny 🌞 , with a high of 80 degrees at 3pm. Seven degrees above normal. Maximum dew point of 68 at 1pm. East wind around 6 mph. A year ago, we had mostly sunny skies. The high last year was 79 degrees. The record high of 92 was set in 1948.

The sun will set at 7:15 pm with dusk around 7:43 pm, which is one minute and 48 seconds earlier than yesterday. πŸŒ‡ At sunset, look for partly clear skies and 74 degrees. The dew point will be 67 degrees. There will be a east breeze at 5 mph. Today will have 12 hours and 34 minutes of daytime, an increase of 2 minutes and 54 seconds over yesterday.

Tonight will be partly cloudy ☁, with a low of 66 degrees at 4am. 13 degrees above normal. Maximum dew point of 68 at 6pm. East wind around 5 mph. In 2017, we had mostly cloudy skies. It became humid as the night progressed. It got down to 65 degrees. The record low of 32 occurred back in 1963.

With the sunshine, the solar panel is doing a good job keeping the battery charged in my truck, πŸ”‹even with the load of laptop charging off it. πŸ’» Makes it a bit hot working out of my truck today, but I really can’t complain that much. Having lots of sun is good for a lot of things, including those people out chopping silage in the country. I love seeing the backroads, 🏞 the farms, and all the hills out here in Madison County.

I expect a long day today, but hopefully things will go smoothly and mostly to plan. β˜‘ That’s why you prepare, make plans and check boxes. Then eventually things come to an end, and I’ll get a good night sleep and move on to bigger and better things back in Albany tomorrow. πŸ• Plan to spend the overnight in the woods then head back at the break of dawn tomorrow. Last night they put me up at a hotel for work, 🏨 but that really ain’t my thing. I much prefer the fresh air and not all those things that go on in a hotel.

One month πŸ“… from now will be Average High is 60 πŸ‚ when the sun will be setting at 6:22 pm with dusk at 6:50 pm. Good old autumn will be underway.🍁 Honestly, I don’t mind it, as I like those crisp autumn mornings, with all the color, being able to wear my vest and enjoy the leaves, the hunting, the nice weather.🦌
