In the early '60s, one standout group, known for its wonderful three part harmonies and guitar work, came out of the Greenwich Village folk scene - Peter, Paul and Mary. "Very Last Day" written by group members Peter Yarrow and Noel (Paul) Stookey is the lead song on their 1963 Warner Bros album, In the Wind, which reached number 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart.
