I often think police officers are scapegoated for problems with their police department’s leadership and policies. 👮‍♀️ 🚓  While workers should be held responsible for their actions on the job, their employers shoulder the responsibility of creating a culture and policies that protect both the public and worker alike. I really don’t think the worker should be blamed for all that goes wrong on duty, nor punished harshly when agency policy and culture fails to protect the public!
