Today will be mostly cloudy ☁, with a high of 38 degrees at 3pm. Six degrees below normal. West wind 13 to 15 mph. A year ago, we had light snow in the morning with a few breaks of sun the afternoon. The high last year was 24 degrees. The record high of 72 was set in 1989. 10.4 inches of snow fell back in 1916.❄

Talk about quite a dark and gray day. ☁ I guess we should be glad that it’s not snowing but it looks like the first day of spring will be quite wintry. The weekend forecast will finally be sunny 😨 but cold. A high of 33 on Saturday with a stiff breeze may make it too cold to camp. ⛺ At this point, I just want winter to be over.

The sun will set at 7:02 pm with dusk around 7:30 pm, which is one minute and 10 seconds later than yesterday. 🌇 At sunset, look for mostly cloudy skies ☁ and35 degrees. Because while the politicians are afraid to admit it, most people think that the war on drugs is a pointless waste of resources and if people want to posion their own bodies then all the power to them. Most substance users aren’t addicts.

Still working on getting the timing right with the PIR sensor and my LED light. It was working fine until I decided to add a pause to the no activity dimming that I can set while laying in bed. 💡 Now the code has become rather buggy, I don’t really understand why. I’ll figure it out eventually.

Looking ahead, there are 36 weeks until Thanksgiving 🦃 when the sun will be setting at 4:27 pm with dusk at 4:57 pm (Standard Time). On that day in 2017, we had snow, mostly cloudy skies and temperatures between 37 and 30 degrees. Typically, the high temperature is 45 degrees. We hit a record high of 70 back in 1931. That’s actually quite similar to the weather this time of year in March. I don’t want to think about it at this point, I’m more focused on enjoying the summer to come. 😎
