April 15, 2015 evening

Good evening. The winds dropped down after dusk and it’s down to 53 degrees. There is a possibility tonight with the clear skies that the mercury will drop below freezing.

Tomorrow’s forecast will be identical to today – sunny, high around 67 degrees with continued dry, red flag conditions. Friday’s rain showers should end the red flag weather by the weekend.

Solar noon! We currently are at 60 degrees in Albany, and will top out at 65 degrees later on. While we have a slack wind now, expect a steady breeze to pick up in the afternoon with the fire danger remaining high in the mountains.

Sunset is 7:39 PM with civil twilight concluding at 8:06 PM. It’s almost a new moon tonight, so your not likely to see it tonight.

80 days until Independence Day — that’s about 11 1/2 weeks.

Happy Hump Day

Good morning, Happy Hump Day! It’s been such a weird week having jury duty this week, even if it wasn’t that much of an inconvenience besides having to wear a suit and taking in an earlier bus then usual downtown.

Farmers market at the Empire State Plaza. They still don’t have all the goodies yet but before you know it they will have all the great spring harvest.

I am super excited about the possibility of getting out camping this weekend. The weekend forecast improved over night and while Friday morning will have showers the rest of the weekend will be quite nice.

Even last night which was chillier then recent was warm enough to keep the windows the windows open. Fresh air in the spring time is so delightful. Maybe this summer will have lots of delightful warm and low humidity days like last summer.
