Stony Creek

Stony Creek is a town in the southwest part of Warren County, New York, United States. It is northwest of the city of Glens Falls and is part of the Glens Falls Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 743 at the 2000 census.

Marshes

When you get to the bridge over Stewart Creek, the area opens up to a wide marshy creek with expansive views.

Tumble

Right below the large marshy area by the bridge, the water tumbles through a narrow chute to another flatwater part of Stewart Creek.

Snowmobile bridge that runs across Stewart Creek right about the chute on the creek.

Snowmobile Trail Crosses Into Marshes

This is as far as I got on the Stewart Creek Trail. Despite wearing my muck boots I thought this seemed a little more soggy then I was prepared to get in the mud.

Flatwater

Below the chute on Stewart Creek is another large flatwater, but this one is a lot narrower and less marshy.
