Save the Pine Bush is a not-for-profit community group which came into being on February 6, 1978. Its mission is to stop development of the Albany Pine Bush in the Capital District of the U.S. state of New York.

The Map I Made for Save the Pine Bush – Lupine Festival 2022 and 2023

Just showcasing some of the more refined maps I’ve made up. This looks really good when printed on color on Arch C-sized paper. I was looking at these maps on my table yesterday, and they are absolutely beautiful. I was pondering getting into the map business, but the cost of printing and shipping really has discouraged me. It’s hard to make the money work unless you can sell multiple copies of any one map you’ve produced.

South Colonie Bus Garage Proposal

South Colonie School District has proposed building a bus garage at 100 Broderick Street, the last section of the Village of Colonie that is undeveloped but contiguous to the rest of the Albany Pine Bush. As you might guess, Save the Pine Bush and others are quite concerned about this proposal.
