Tahawus Photos.

Tahawus is home to NL Industries' former titanium dioxide mine (closed in 1989), and a speculator piece of land, just South of High Peaks, jointly owned by Open Space Institute and NY State. The Upper Works-area provides access to ruins of Tahawus Club and High Peaks Wilderness.
