The 20 mile Piseco-Powley Seasonal Road is located in the Ferris Lake Wild Forest and runs between Piseco Lake and Sratford, NY in the South-Central Adirondacks. It's known for it's roadside campsites, remote wilderness routing, East Canada Creek, Potholers, and hikes to various lakes. These are the pictures I took on that particular Monday in May.

Waking Up Deligted to See the Sun. All that light and bright green was sorely missing from Powley Place when I camped there most of the weekend, until Memorial Day worked it's way around.

Powley Place Bridge on a Sunny Day. It was so much nicer on Monday then the rest of the weekend, making me wish I had Tuesday off from work.

Potholers. If the water wasn't so cold, and it wasn't "break away" day to head back to home, I am sure this area would have been packed.

Lot of Water in Potholers. I am sure the water levels are much lower in summer, and probably it's wonderful to sit down in the granite-like holes worn into the rocks betwen the boulders.
