Moose River Plains
on September 6, 2010.

Moose River Plains is a 50,000 acre state recreation area parcel between the West Canadian Creek Wilderness and Blue Ridge Wilderness. It has 150 road-side campsites (some set as far as mile off the road), along a 40 mile rough dirt roads, along with many beautiful lakes and mountains surrounding it. These are the pictures I took on that particular Monday in September.

Moose River and Otter Brook Rendered. As rendered by Google Earth. You can see confluence of the Otter Brook and the Moose River, and Moose River Plains Road crossing the river. It's quite amazing. Higley Mountain is in the distance.
