Rensselaer Besicorp Power Plant. This is the new 635-MW Natural Gas Power Plant that went online in October. It primarily generates power for downstate, witness power lines that connect to a substation south of the plant.

Circle Stack Interchange. I love how this interchange from the Corning Tower looks like a giant circle of ramps. I have always wondered if you put a giant marble on the top of it, where it would roll.

Inside the Corning Observation Deck. It was a beautiful day, and there was almost nobody around. There is no longer a security guard downstairs, and when I was on the floor, the guide wasn't even there for a while. Big state cutbacks.

Housing Projects. Don't they just look awful? These where supposed to be the more humane version of the high-rise towers of the 1960s, all paid for by largely wasted taxpayer dollars.
