A pleasant evening last night before the rain later today. ๐ŸŒง๏ธ

For the first time in a while I sat out back until late into the evening. After a hot day it was a very pleasant evening. Today is more cloudy and humid, a lot of rain is on tap for the next few days.

Good morning! Happy Sunday. Clouds and 70 degrees in Delmar for the morning walk out to Five. โ˜ Calm wind. The dew point is 68 degrees. The skies will clear Tuesday around 2 am. But first, 4-6 inches of rain. โ˜” Best to get my steps in early. ๐Ÿ‘ฃ

Walking ๐Ÿšถ out to Five Rivers Environmental Education Center which may be one of the last times in the near future. Bicycling will be so much quicker, even if I take the long way to avoid traffic and hills. This morning to change it up, heading out Fisher Boulevard and will walk back Delaware Ave, though that way is a bit more narrow. Already when the sun is out I’m feeling the humidity. ๐Ÿ˜ฐ Really dripping in that sweat.

Today will have a chance of showers and thunderstorms before 2pm, then rain and thunderstorms likely between 2pm and 5pm, then rain likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 5pm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Mostly cloudy ๐ŸŒง, with a high of 81 degrees at 3pm. Three degrees below normal, which is similar to a typical day around June 23rd. Maximum dew point of 72 at 11am. Calm wind becoming south 5 to 8 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible. A year ago, we had mostly sunny skies. The high last year was 80 degrees. The record high of 103 was set in 1936.

After I do my walk ๐Ÿšถ I’ll probably cook up the chicken ๐Ÿ” for the week and lunch. Hot day for turning on the oven but I figure I’ll take a cold shower after cooking and then I’m heading out to the folks house in the evening which with the rain should give time for everything to cool down. ๐Ÿฒ Home cooked chicken breast are so much healthier than the frozen ones and I can refreeze them. Also will toast the remaining chickpeas I have soaked. ๐Ÿ˜

Solar noon ๐ŸŒž is at 1:01 pm with sun having an altitude of 69.8ยฐ from the due south horizon (-1.1ยฐ vs. 6/21). The golden hour ๐Ÿ… starts at 7:53 pm with the sun in the west-northwest (295ยฐ). ๐Ÿ“ธ The sunset is in the west-northwest (302ยฐ) with the sun dropping below the horizon at 8:36 pm after setting for 3 minutes and 25 seconds with dusk around 9:09 pm, which is 25 seconds earlier than yesterday. ๐ŸŒ‡ The best time to look at the stars is after 9:54 pm. At sunset, look for rain ๐ŸŒง and thunderstorms ๐ŸŒฉ and temperatures around 69 degrees. The dew point will be 69 degrees. There will be a west-northwest breeze at 6 mph. Today will have 15 hours and 11 minutes of daytime, a decrease of one minute and 8 seconds over yesterday.

Yesterday besides getting a bicycle ๐Ÿšฒ and going shopping ๐Ÿ›’ it was a very hot and humid kind of quiet day. Besides the morning walk around the park I ended going back to the town park ๐Ÿž to watch the sun set and went to the library ๐Ÿ“š for a few hours to heat the heat. I thought about plinking down the seven or eight bucks to swim in the town park pool ๐ŸŠโ€โ™‚๏ธ but being do hot and humid you never know when a thunderstorm โ›ˆ would come rolling through. One clap of thunder and the pool closes for a half hour. ๐Ÿ’ธ I tried making hummus and that was a disaster after buying expensive Tanani sauce. I paid good money for the ingredients, I’m going to have to try again. ๐Ÿ˜–

Tonight will rain and possibly a thunderstorm before 8pm, then rain and thunderstorms between 8pm and 11pm, then rain and possibly a thunderstorm after 11pm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. ๐ŸŒง Low of 66 degrees at 12am. Four degrees above normal. Maximum dew point of 70 at 6pm. ๐Ÿ–๏ธ West wind around 6 mph becoming light and variable after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible. In 2022, we had mostly clear skies. It got down to 52 degrees. The record low of 47 occurred back in 1963.

Looking, next Sunday is Last Sunset After 8:30 PM ๐ŸŒ† with dusk at 9:04 pm. On that day in 2022, we had a rather hot day, that was mostly sunny and temperatures between 88 and 60 degrees. Did I spend it at the Potholers? Yes. Typically, the high temperature is 84 degrees. We hit a record high of 97 back in 1900.

Double X

We end June lost in the smoke ๐ŸŒซ

Probably by tomorrow or the day after the air pollution will move on, my eyes and throat will stop burning. At least for a while. The hell of it is we are electrifying things and switching to renewables which will clean the air about the time climate change is polluting the air.

Good morning! Where did June go? The answer my friend is blowing in the wind, or at least is lost in the smoke. I’m getting used to the sore throat when I go outside. It’s kind of like after a hard night drinking and smoking back in the day minus the hang over. Haze and smoke ๐ŸŒซ and 60 degrees in Delmar, NY. Calm wind. The dew point is 59 degrees. The air quality index is 114, unhealthy for sensitive individuals due to Cannuks burning their forests. I’m sure the Trumpster would say that.

Lately I’ve been starting my morning with a hard boiled egg ๐Ÿฅš and a cup of black coffee โ˜• before my morning walk ๐Ÿšถ. I appreciating the power of protein in eggs to get me going in the morning. 11 ยฝ miles walked yesterday. 36 floors climbed up and down. I’m really getting to prefer the stairs to the elevator at work. I got to bed ๐Ÿ› before nine o’clock last night and got a good night’s sleep and feel great. After the morning walk it’s pancakes ๐Ÿฅž and strawberries, the pancakes made out of bananas ๐ŸŒ, whole grain oatmeal and water run through the food processor. It’s good.

You’d think you’d need flour and sugar to make good pancakes ๐Ÿฅž but truth be told, since I’ve been milling the whole grain oatmeal and bananas into a slurry in the food processor to make pancake mix I can’t imagine going back as it’s so much better tasting and filling. I’ve been thinking ๐Ÿ’ญ maybe I can tweak the recipe adding raisins and possibly honey ๐Ÿฏ for more stickiness to make oatmeal raisin cookies in the oven minus all unhealthy crap. ๐Ÿช

Today will be widespread haze. Patchy dense fog before 7am. Otherwise, mostly sunny ๐ŸŒ‡, with a high of 86 degrees at 3pm. Three degrees above normal. Maximum dew point of 65 at 10am. Calm wind becoming south around 6 mph in the morning. It would be hotter if not for the smoke. A year ago, we had mostly sunny skies. The high last year was 85 degrees. The record high of 98 was set in 1964.

Yesterday I was noticing how thin I actually look when wearing clothes at actually for myself. ๐Ÿ It’s actually amazing what eating good food plus a little exercise can do. I wonder if I’m actually a healthy weight but I don’t know, I don’t own a scale. Now just to figure out the bicycle ๐Ÿšฒ thing and start riding to work, saving bus fares ๐Ÿš and getting more exercise doing what is otherwise wasted time on the bus.

Solar noon ๐ŸŒž is at 1:00 pm with sun having an altitude of 70.6ยฐ from the due south horizon (-0.3ยฐ vs. 6/21). The golden hour ๐Ÿ… starts at 7:55 pm with the sun in the west-northwest (296ยฐ). ๐Ÿ“ธ The sunset is in the west-northwest (303ยฐ) with the sun dropping below the horizon at 8:38 pm after setting for 3 minutes and 27 seconds with dusk around 9:11 pm, which is 6 seconds earlier than yesterday. ๐ŸŒ‡ At dusk you’ll see the Full ๐ŸŒ Moon in the south-southeast (160ยฐ) at an altitude of 20ยฐ from the horizon, 234,231 miles away. ๐Ÿš€ The best time to look at the stars is after 9:58 pm. At sunset, look for partly clear skies ๐ŸŒ„ and temperatures around 80 degrees. The dew point will be 63 degrees. There will be a south-southeast breeze at 6 mph. Today will have 15 hours and 19 minutes of daytime, a decrease of 35 seconds over yesterday.

Tonight will be partly cloudy ๐ŸŒƒ, with a low of 62 degrees at 6am. One degree above normal. Maximum dew point of 63 at 8pm. South wind around 7 mph. In 2022, we had mostly clear skies. It became humid as the night progressed. It got down to 68 degrees. The record low of 45 occurred back in 1978.

On this day in 1971, Ohio ratifies the 26th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, reducing the voting age to 18, thereby putting the amendment into effect. Also in 1934, ๐Ÿ—ณ The Night of the Long Knives, Adolf Hitler’s violent purge of his political rivals in Germany, takes place. Fortunately, we only have obnoxious rhetoric to that impact in our country today. ๐Ÿ—ก That said, I like my big knifes for chopping vegetables. ๐Ÿฅ•

Tomorrow will have a slight chance of showers, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. Mostly sunny โ˜€ ๐Ÿ‘‰ ๐ŸŒฆ, with a high of 85 degrees at 3pm. Two degrees above normal. Maximum dew point of 64 at 10am. South wind 6 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms. A year ago, we had mostly sunny skies. The high last year was 95 degrees. The record high of 99 was set in 1913.

Tomorrow’s goals are quite simple but important steps forward. ๐Ÿฅ… It is to first and foremost either get a bicycle ๐Ÿšฒ or at least have one ordered and paid for at a bicycle store either new or preferably used. Something good and reliable. Drop off my worn out clothes and boots ๐Ÿ‘ข for recycling โ™ป. Get sparklers ๐ŸŽ‡ and ground fireworks either in Greene or Rennselear County. Go grocery shopping ๐Ÿ›’ for a few supplies. Decide if I want to go out to Schoharie for camping ๐Ÿ• Saturday evening through independence Day. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

Looking ahead to Sunday, a chance of showers before 11am, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms between 11am and 2pm, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 2pm. Mostly cloudy, ๐ŸŒฅ with a high near 80. South wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible. Maximum dew point of 69 at 1pm. Typical average high for the weekend is 83 degrees.

Frankly, Sunday doesn’t look great. ๐ŸŒฆ๏ธ I am inclined to stay in town, maybe get some books at the library ๐Ÿ“š as I’m not crazy about the books I have remaining tonight. But WRGB keeps swearing this weekend won’t be a wash out ๐Ÿ“บ but based on statistical analysis of Nate Silver ๐Ÿ”ข I’m not sure I believe television metrologist over the National Weather Service. But I will keep Schoharie County in my back pocket, for a potential trip with Monday spent fishing ๐ŸŽฃ and swimming at Mine Kill Pool and camping at Burnt Rossman State Forest, hitting up farm stands ๐Ÿ“ on Saturday afternoon.

For Monday a chance of showers, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 2pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 85. Chance of precipitation is 60%. ๐ŸŒฆ๏ธ Doesn’t sound wonderful. And Independence Day, ๐ŸŽ‡ hot and very humid with a chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 2pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 85. โ˜€ Dewpoints pushing seventy. Sticky. ๐Ÿ˜ฐ Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Maybe independence Day I’ll head to an undisclosed location with a flashlight ๐Ÿ”ฆ to watch July 4th fireworks. ๐ŸŽ‡ And then save the sparklers ๐ŸŒŸ and ground fireworks I get for the following weekend potentially for a trip to the Potholers spent floating on the tube โญ•. Assuming it’s hot and sunny. Or a future ๐Ÿ”ฎ July weekend. I’m planning the last two weekends of July at Finger Lakes National Forest where fireworks are mostly prohibited so I don’t think I’ll bring many there. I actually kind of want sweet corn ๐ŸŒฝ to be out first so I can enjoy that with clams ๐Ÿฆช at the Potholers though.

Looking forward, there are 2 weeks until National Nude Day ๐Ÿ‘ฑ when the sun will be setting at 8:33 pm with dusk at 9:06 pm. What can I say, skinny dipping is fun especially after dark in an Adirondack swimming ๐ŸŠ hole. On that day in 2022, we had partly cloudy and temperatures between 85 and 65 degrees. Typically, the high temperature is 84 degrees. We hit a record high of 99 back in 1995.

June 10, 2023 – Looking Ahead This Week

Really the big question is next weekend — Juneteenth on my mind, though also Sunday now that looks like the best day for the Gas Up with dad. ๐Ÿšœ But first I got to get through this crazy weekend with work, so things can slow down for summer next week. ๐ŸŠ ๐Ÿ•  I am a little worried about the long range for next weekend, though truth be told most models beyond seven days are complete crap, projections easily thrown off by a butterfly flapping his or her wings in South America effecting the global climate model that far out. The good news is it looks like beneficial rain come Monday as things have been so dry lately. ๐ŸŒง

 County Route 20

The first Friday in June 2023

Technically it’s a day too early to be listening to that song about Billy Jo McAllister but on the other side it feels such an appropriate song. Seems like so many so many conversations. I’m just looking forward to being able to wear daisies in my hair. ๐ŸŒผ

Good morning! Yeah, it’s Friday! Sunny and 64 degrees at the for the morning walk in Delmar. ๐ŸŒž There is a north-northwest breeze at 5 mph. ๐Ÿƒ. The dew point is 57 degrees. ๐Ÿฎ The air tastes like grain and hay.

Last night wasn’t that warm ๐Ÿ˜ฐ though after getting my steps ๐Ÿ‘ฃ in and doing some leg and arm crunches I was feeling sweaty. ๐Ÿ’ช

I think I’m going to do eggs ๐Ÿฅš, spinach and beans for breakfast ๐Ÿณ this morning. I have that lunch today at work but first I want to make sure I have a stomach full of fiber so I limit how much of that inevitably high calorie restaurant food. Also trying to get in as many steps ๐Ÿ‘ฃ as possible in the morning in case this evening is very wet. I’m somewhat disappointed that I won’t be getting out of town this weekend.

Today will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1pm. Sunny ๐ŸŒž, with a high of 88 degrees at 1pm. 12 degrees above normal. Maximum dew point of 60 at 9am. North wind 5 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms. A year ago, we had partly cloudy skies in the morning with some clearing in the afternoon. It was somewhat humid. The high last year was 78 degrees. The record high of 94 was set in 1895.

Going to be another ol hot summer day, ๐Ÿ– this day with a bit more humidity but still hardly oppressive. Right it’s super nice. Too bad it’s going to turn to rain and much cooler come this evening ๐ŸŒƒ into the weekend. I guess enjoy it while you still can thought it will be back for the work week from hell but then they’ll be gone for the summer. ๐Ÿ‘ฟ My thoughts are totally on the Potholers which I’ll be at in two weeks, God willing for the Juneteenth Weekend, which is my favorite holiday of the year.

I was hoping to walk down to the Park and Ride ๐Ÿšbut breakfast took longer than expected ๐Ÿ—ก with all the chopping and then it seemed like the eggs weren’t cooked enough ๐Ÿณ so I had to put them back in broiler a bit longer. I did double check โ˜‘ to make sure the oven is off before heading out. Ultimately I walked halfway to the Park and Ride and I’m thinking I’ll be closing in on 4 miles before I start work at nine. Worse comes to worse I’ll wear a rain coat for the evening walk ๐Ÿšถ.

Tonight will have showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 2am, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 60. ๐ŸŒง๏ธ North wind 5 to 7 mph becoming northeast after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

It looks like National Gird is busy upgrading the lines by the High School ๐Ÿšธ to add new power poles and electricity capacity to support more electric buses in the coming years. They cut the trees before Indiana bat ๐Ÿฆ‡ season and it looks like they have it marked out for the poles to be installed in the coming days. Electric buses are the future as are electric cars. It’s happening, finally now.

Then for Saturday, scattered showers, with thunderstorms also possible after noon. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 70. ๐ŸŒฅ ๐Ÿ‘‰ โ˜€ North wind 7 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

I decided on Saturday I am going to browse used bicycles ๐Ÿšฒ to see what is available at a few local stores. I would kind of prefer a more road bike for commuting and longer distance travel then my hybrid bicycle. But I’m thinking I will continue my effort to restore my old bicycle maybe reaching out to Albany Bicycle Rescue for some help on the wheel. If I’m planning on doing a lot of bicycle commuting it might be best to have a back up after things break down as the inevitably will. ๐Ÿ›

Then heading over to Colonie to visit John Wolcott and if the weather is decent take him out to the Crossings. ๐Ÿž Then in the evening I plan to head over to the Albany Pine Bush ๐Ÿฆ‹ and stop at Market 32 in Guilderland for groceries. ๐Ÿ›’ Sunday go out and see the folks. ๐Ÿ‘ช And then the big final week ahead.

One week from now session should be wrapping up ๐Ÿง‘๐Ÿปโ€๐Ÿ’ผ and I should be able to put away my poorly fitting dress clothes for a while as I figure out what my future looks like. I’m ready for some nice summer weekends in the Potholers. Sunset on that day is 8:33 pm with dusk at 9:06. I know it well, I’ve been staying up too late. ๐ŸŒ‡ 77 degrees is the normal high, it got up to 93 degrees back in 2011. Long range says 75 and sunny for next Friday but it’s certain to change.

March 2, 2023 Evening

Good evening! Mostly cloudy and 36 degrees in Delmar for the evening walk. โ˜ There is a northwest breeze at 15 mph. ๐Ÿƒ with gusts up to 31 mph ๐Ÿ’จ๐Ÿ’จ๐Ÿ’จ. There are 5 inches of snow on the ground. โ˜ƒ ๏ธTemperatures will drop below freezing at around 10 pm. โ˜ƒ๏ธ

Another Thursday evening ๐ŸŒƒ has come. Tomorrow will be Friday and I guess there is another snow storm coming for Saturday. I’m tired of winter but my hope is this will be the final last big blast. Or maybe not. It could be a bust depending on the model you consider. ๐ŸŒจ

Tonight will be partly cloudy ๐ŸŒŸ , with a low of 24 degrees at 6am. Two degrees above normal, which is similar to a typical night around March 8th. Northwest wind 7 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph. In 2022, we had cloudy skies. It got down to 19 degrees. The record low of -10 occurred back in 1950.

Tonight will have a Waxing Gibbous ๐ŸŒ” Moon with 82% illuminated. At 7 PM, the moon was in the east-southeast (115ยฐ) at an altitude of 62ยฐ from the horizon, some 251,794 miles away from where you are looking up from the earth. ๐Ÿš€ At the state speed limit of 55 mph, you’ll make it there by September 9th. Buckle up for safety! ๐Ÿ’บ.

The Worm ๐Ÿ› Moon is on Tuesday, March 7. The darkest hour is at 12:09 am, followed by dawn at 6:03 am, and sun starting to rise at 6:31 am in the east (99ยฐ) and last for 2 minutes and 56 seconds. Sunrise is one minute and 38 seconds earlier than yesterday. ๐ŸŒ„ The golden hour ends at 7:09 am with sun in the east-southeast (106ยฐ). Tonight will have 12 hours and 38 minutes of darkness, a decrease of 2 minutes and 51 seconds over last night.

Earlier today I did my net worth calculation ๐Ÿ’ต and I am finally above water again as I’ve saved some more money and the markets have partially rebounded. ๐Ÿ“Š That said, I’m looking at the market fundamentals and corporate profits and the inability of the fed to slow inflation much, I think it might be a another bad year in the market. But I guess I’m acquiring assets for less now that will grow.

Tomorrow will have increasing clouds โ˜€ ๐Ÿ‘‰ โ˜, with a high of 40 degrees at 4pm. One degrees below normal, which is similar to a typical day around March 1st. North wind around 6 mph becoming calm. A year ago, we had mostly sunny skies. The high last year was 43 degrees. The record high of 64 was set in 2002. 10.9 inches of snow fell back in 1994.โ„

In four weeks on March 30 the sun will be setting in the west (276ยฐ) at 7:20 pm (Daylight Savings Time),๐ŸŒ„ which is one hour, 32 minutes and 54 seconds later then tonight. In 2021 on that day, we had mostly sunny and temperatures between 60 and 23 degrees. Typically, you have temperatures between 51 and 31 degrees. The record high of 86 degrees was set back in 1986.

While I’ll probably be working late on March 30th ๐Ÿ—“ I am thinking by then I’ll be able many nights be able to walk down to the park ๐Ÿž and read after work. ๐Ÿ“– Figure by then even at quarter to eight 8โƒฃ there will be some daylight.

Looking ahead, Arbor Day ๐ŸŒณ is in 8 weeks, 8:30 PM Dusk ๐ŸŒ† is in 9 weeks, 8 PM Sunset ๐ŸŒ‡ is in 9 weeks, 9 PM Dusk ๐ŸŒ† is in 13 weeks, June ๐Ÿน is in 13 weeks, 8:30 PM Sunset ๐ŸŒ‡ is in 14 weeks, Ugly Truck Day ๐Ÿšš is in 20 weeks, Campfire Day ๐Ÿ”ฅ is in 22 weeks, Columbus Day ๐Ÿ›ฅ๏ธ is in 32 weeks, Average High is 60 ๐Ÿ‚ is in 33 weeks, Thanksgiving ๐Ÿฆƒ is in 38 weeks, First Day of Winter โ˜ƒ๏ธ is in 42 weeks and 4:30 PM Sunset ๐ŸŒ† is in 43 weeks.

Hedge Row

February 16, 2023 Evening

Good evening! Clouds, damp and 47 degrees in Delmar, NY. โ˜๏ธ Calm wind. Mild tonight but cold later. Temperatures will drop below freezing at tomorrow around 5 pm. โ˜ƒ๏ธ

It’s nice to be able to walk ๐Ÿšถ for one more night without any more than a vest. Tomorrow though the heat will probably have to come for a few more days. Like so many days that threaten to rain, turned out to be just a few showers.

Tonight will have showers likely, mainly after 5am. Cloudy ๐ŸŒง, with a low of 46 degrees at 12am. 28 degrees above normal, which is similar to a typical night around May 8th. Light and variable wind becoming south 5 to 10 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible. In 2022, we had mostly clear skies in the evening, which became mostly clear by the early hours of the morning. It got down to 13 degrees. The record low of -16 occurred back in 1973.

Another busy day came and went at work. ๐Ÿข But it made the time go by quickly. I’m doing good at eating up all the fruit and vegetables I bought on Sunday. ๐Ÿ I swear I’ve noticed some small changes since I’ve started my calorie reduction program. I’m just not nearly as hungry when I always have an apple or orange in my mouth. And I’ve done good with the steps every day.

Tonight will have a Waining Crescent ๐ŸŒ˜ Moon with 14% illuminated. The Worm ๐Ÿ› Moon is on Saturday, March 4. The darkest hour is at 12:10 am, followed by dawn at 6:23 am, and sun starting to rise at 6:52 am in the east-southeast (106ยฐ) and last for 3 minutes and 1 seconds. Sunrise is one minute and 24 seconds earlier than yesterday. ๐ŸŒ„ The golden hour ends at 7:32 am with sun in the east-southeast (113ยฐ). Tonight will have 13 hours and 18 minutes of darkness, a decrease of 2 minutes and 43 seconds over last night.

Did some cleaning this evening ๐Ÿงนaround the apartment after making macaroni and cheese ๐Ÿง€ with a ton of veggies and real cheese, eat only one bowl and froze the rest for future meals. Getting milk ๐Ÿฅ› for the first time in over a week, a big drop from drinking two gallons a week. I also am skipping apple juice, the bottle I have left I bought in January. I’m spending less on groceries even if I am buying more and more fruits and vegetables which haven’t been impacted by inflation nearly as much.

Tomorrow will rain showers before 4pm, then a chance of rain and snow showers. ๐ŸŒง๏ธ Temperature rising to near 52 by 9am, then falling to around 33 during the remainder of the day. South wind 10 to 18 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Little or no snow accumulation expected. A year ago, we had mist. The high last year was 24 degrees. The record high of 60 was set in 1981. 11.9 inches of snow fell back in 2003.โ„

In four weeks on March 16 the sun will be setting in the west (269ยฐ) at 7:03 pm (Daylight Savings Time),๐ŸŒ„ which is one hour, 34 minutes and 21 seconds later then tonight.
